Above It All Physical Therapy

Treating StaffAbove It All Physical Therapy’s mission is to Go Beyond the Usual. This means you can expect more out of your experience with us. If you aren’t receiving what you need or want, just tell us so we can make it right!

Our treatment philosophy:

We treat everyone individually, based on their physical needs, goals and desires. We hold our patients accountable for being active in their treatment and healing process. Therapy can only be completely successful with patient compliance and proper evaluation and treament as prescribed by the physical therapist.


Kevin MacomberKEVIN MACOMBER, PT, Cert. MDT, Founder and Owner
Kevin earned his B.S. in Physical Therapy from Daemen College, Buffalo, NY in 1995. Kevin is a Certified Therapist by The Mckenzie Institute in mechanical diagnosis and therapy for spinal and extremity disorders. He is also trained in the technique of Trigger Point Dry Needling. He has practiced in the orthopedic private practice setting since graduation. His desire to promote physical therapy in the community and his entrepreneurial passion sparked the opening of Above It All Physical Therapy in July of 2009.

Kevin's scope of orthopedic practice encompasses treating professional and recreational athletes of all ages, traumatic cases, work injuries, and post-surgical cases. Kevin prides himself in spending time to get to know and listen to his patients. He has taken it upon himself to further his education through numerous post-graduate coursework. Kevin is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and it’s Orthopedic and Private Practice Sections. He is a co-chair of the reimbursement committee in the Colorado Chapter of the APTA.

Outside of the clinic, Kevin is highly involved in skiing and snowboarding. He has been an active member of the National Ski Patrol since 1988. Kevin has a strong love for the outdoors and sports. He treasures his time with his wife and two boys.

Christian RobertsonChristian Robertson:

Christian was born and raised in Morgan City, La. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, La where he obtained a B.S. in Kinesiology-Athletic Training in May 2012. While obtaining this degree, he has been trained in many aspects of the sports medicine field including injury prevention, immediate care, rehabilitation, fitness, and nutrition.

Christian's love and experience playing high school athletics, paired with the desire to connect and see individuals overcome their injuries, has drawn him to the sports medicine profession. Prior to moving to Highlands Ranch, Colorado in August 2013, Christian worked with a local Louisiana high school in Lafayette to aid with injury prevention and other athletic training duties during the various sports’ seasons. During this time, he also worked alongside sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, and occupational therapists at a local orthopedic clinic. Christian takes pride in having a "student-like" mindset that enables him to consistently be in a position to expand upon and further his physical therapy knowledge.

Outside of his time at Above It All Physical Therapy, Christian is working towards becoming a physical therapy assistant. He also enjoys participating in various sports, playing piano, watching movies, and traveling with his wife, Blair.

carlaCarla, Office Administrator:
Carla was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Falls Church, VA.  She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Communication. While at UCSD, she was a member of the crew team, played Club Lacrosse, and spent a “Semester at Sea”.

Carla joined Above It All Physical Therapy in 2013.

Carla, her husband, and their two teenage sons moved to Highlands Ranch in 2007.

Outside of work, Carla and her family enjoy spending time together playing and watching lacrosse, golfing, skiing and snowboarding.
